You have to make family a part of your business. I have learnt overtime my daughter is less clingy when I get her involved with what I am doing, for example; helping me set up at an event, meeting the customers, when doing crafty things, taking photographs and when I’m attending casual meetings. All this gives gives her a better understanding of what I do and when I spend money on her or buy things in general, she knows what I have done to earn the money. Make them a part of that journey, and that’s for any mum, not just single mums...Our children are our reason to seek out a better life and to be a good role model.

It would be great to hear about your experiences on this topic.

Recently, I have noticed my daughter is more affectionate verbally and physically. Don't get me wrong she does tell me she loves me and other things but just noticed it a bit more and I am really loving it. I hope it's not a phase she is going through. It's nice seeing her going through stages but on the other hand I find it a tad overwhelming with all the changes, especially the good ones. She will be four next month and when I look back it's been a rollercoaster of a journey that I have loved every minute. I have not decided yet what we are doing and how we are going to spend it. Am I the only one that thinks like this?

I will be adding a new blog Friday. If you would like to be the first to know about new offers and products then do sign up to receiving my newsletter.

Come back next week to learn more about how to ‘Give yourself a break’.

Yours Truly,
